Elk Grove Unified closes schools for the week due to COVID

EGUSD schools will be closed the week of 3/8-3/13. No student activities will take place, including all sports' practices and games.

Going to be very interesting to see the scramble to make up games.

Laguna Creek was scheduled to play Cosumnes Oaks on Wednesday. Because of their league schedules, it might be difficult to re-schedule.

Any out of section games will be the most tough to reschedule.

Yes, but... LC plays in the Metro with two league games per week. CO in the Delta with three games per week. Teams might not want to tax their pitching staffs to four games in a week. LC also probably loses a game against North Section powerhouse Pleasant Valley.
