Great win for MC on the road at Drake. MC playing 8 games in 11 days in two Dec tourneys took their legs for a bit, but a win over current stake #3 Bishop Montgomery, highly regarded Lincoln of Tacoma, WA and now Drake on the road proves MC is legit. It's too bad Charlie Duyson wasn't able to play in the OT loss to St. Mary's at Piedmont a few weeks ago.

NCS D4 is going to be very interesting…. Very balanced this year. Anyone of these teams can beat each other.

I saw the 2nd half of Salesian and SMB....

Salesian looked very good......up by as much as 17 mid 4th before coasting to the final buzzer.....

Plus 15-7 Arcata boasts a win over Marin Catholic this year as well. NCS D4 will be a barnburner.

Year in and out NCS D4 in Basketball and NCS D3 in Football rule the roost. Just a powerhouse division with some of the best teams in Norcal.

A team like Newman will have trouble with Salesian's quickness. If they can slow the tempo down and keep it ugly they have a chance. It's all about matchups come playoff time. Staying at home doesn't hurt either.
