Story to Read

Jordan Wagner also had a late game interception to help Lincoln prevail over Christian Brothers. It is Lincoln’s first time making a section semi-final.

Good observation about the SJS Valley Oak league teams. They had 4 teams pretty strong this year. Their league strength is comparable to Delta this year who Calpreps rates as a tie directly after the Sierra Foothill league in the SJS section.

The south SJS has most likely the strongest medium and small school leagues in the entire state. The VOL with CC, Oakdale, Manteca & Kimball and the TVL with Escalon, Ripon, Hilmar & Livingston are all still playing.

The VOL holds 2 records. The winningest section champs in football CC . And the team that has lost the most championship games Oakdale. As stated before Oakdale plays a system. They don't have great athletes. Just mentally strong. And Trent has them believing in the system! Look how many times you have co- champions. You can see by my screen name I have other interests . Mickie his son is also a very talented musician. So I used to see them at rock concerts!
