Paul Cronin could be headed to JSerra

In my opinion, JSerra has a ceiling. The location is great if your want to have a Hallmark Channel version of a Catholic high school education, but not to build a football powerhouse. You won't really get the type of players that MD and SJB gets to go all the way down to San Juan Capistrano.

I think that would be a mistake for Both Sides…. Cronin doesn’t know what he would be getting into down there having to compete with MD and SJB every year and would probably burn out in a year or two…..

The Best Hire for JSerra would be former Servite Coach Troy Thomas….

Plus, I would like to see a great Coach like Cronin stay in Nor Cal….

maybe Cronin headed to J Serra on W 20th and PW stays in the OC after losing to MD.... he becomes a coach somewhere in the Trinity League... aka Gods gift to Cali Football

Should apply at Pittsburg. He had success at public Piner HS in Santa Rosa as a player and coach many years ago. Can be challenging navigating the huge student body but great tradition and potential.
That’s a great call. Paul would have them in position to finally win NCS!

Looks like QPR left here and went to Twitter lol
....or was defrocked because of his failure to convert and recruit any NorCal acolytes to his "trinity mission" OR because he was exposed as being a poser
and just another Sybil wet dream .......

Hasta la vista. BayBee😎

45 minutes from Long Beach and about the same from San Diego. It could be done but it would take a bigger effort than SJB or MD

Feels like he’ll be back at Cardinal Newman at some point. At the very least a Catholic school in the Bay Area. Sanchez at CN is not a young man and I can see him leave soon, there has been some backlash over treatment of a player from a local prominent Black family.

Off the top of my head… Nightingale at Salesian isn’t old but he’s been the HC over 25 seasons…

Sanchez is not even in same league as Paul but he’s not a bad coach or leader. Ive Heard from close sources very much a military type style. I don’t think he’s going anywhere soon and the cardinals aren’t what they use to be in football but they are still a good d4 team and should be in 2023-24.

Ukiah was fairly young last year and should do ok in the lower tier NBL. Not a ton of talent.

Bridges were burned at CN...Cronin will not end up back there.

Ukiah is not the worst spot to end up in with the new football re-alignment in the North Bay. With the new leagues it actually sets up for an easier "deep run" than he ever had at CN....assuming he can get some players.

Some crazy rumors out there. According to some he may not be welcome back at any Catholic School. Apparently the other parochial school in the county of Sonoma was unsuccessful in hiring him.

He certainly can have success at Ukiah, only “large” school/town in Mendocino County.
They have a Costco and an In n Out there now! It was only a decade ago that Ukiah had 3 levels with big participation numbers and a huge youth program.

There is a player on the team who spoke out publicly on the subject of favoritism and micro-aggressions on the base of race running rampant on the team. This young man is one of the few Black students/athletes at CN and his Grandfather was a Coach for many years around the area. I believe his Grandmother/family have big ties to a local Native American community/casino.

Where did the player speak out publicy? That is something that needs some backing to put out there.

Never heard anything of the sort but I’m pretty confident I know the name.

The real issue in the north bay right now is the fight that occurred between a star Windsor football player.

If you know you know and it sounds bad.

The young man spoke at the Santa Rosa City Council meeting on 2/28. His Mother also posted the speech on her Facebook Page publicly.

The mayor of SR, Natalie Rodgers, is the Mother of St Vincent (Petlauma) star RB Kai Hall. She chose to commute her son down there at a time when SV was contemplating 8 man football 4 years ago.

I do not think it is the same incident but a star Rancho player made/will make the transfer to Windsor. Apparently it was due to disciplinary actions at/while enrolled at Rancho.

DOCUMENTED happenings regarding the star football player that led him to transfer from Rancho to Windsor. Some crazy shit happened in that one. Pretty much had no choice, had to leave.

As far as what happened in regards to the reigning NBL MVP last weekend (at the beach, the Rohnert Park In n Out and Galvan Park) that's all allegations at this point although there is a teammate in the hospital who's going to need a complete facial reconstruction.

CN vs Windsor this season is going to bring back memories of the old Norte Dame vs Miami days.

The Catholics vs The Convicts

As for the RC to Windsor transfer, unless his family lived in Rohnert Park/Cotati and every single person in the household moved to Windsor he should be ineligible per NCS until late September. That is regardless of any other issues. Even if he resided in Windsor while attending RC and is now moving back to his home district.
