    This was a much closer game than the final score indicates. It was a scoreless battle in the 4th when DLS pushed across 3 runs after a botched rundown. The Spartans put up 7 runs in the final 2 innings. Good to see a healthy Blair playing. Schlicht looked solid.

    Plus, he could have more leverage for a signing bonus if he has more options. If he has both college baseball and college basketball as options, he could command more. And I get the feeling he likes basketball as well.

    I don’t think that asking too much. They were already one of the top north bay teams this season. They still need to pass up Branson, Montgomery & Justin-Siena, but definitely doable.
