James Akinjo finished with 33pts
Elijah Hardy finished with 12pts

James Akinjo is one of the best Pg's to come out of NorCal in a while.

@vukovich I think Hardy is really good. Tall pg, long, athletic, great vision, good handle. Just need to work on shooting and live in that weightroom

He can play for sure, but he has always been the only other player besides brown who is in the national rankings. There are so other really good guys in NorCal that are being overlooked in the rankings.

Akinjo is a DOG on the ct. Hardy's potential has not matched his production IMO in Hs or aau. 1 has really worked in his shot & other is still a work in progress. I'd take Tyler Johnson as 1b behind Akinjo

@vukovich agreed. Guarantee you James will crack too 75 with the summer he had. Was the best player on a team that won Peach Jam. The highest of levels for grassroots basketball.

But then again ranking are all hype and political based. So I'm not a big fan of them personally

At this point James is much better than Elijah!! And for what it's worth the hell with rankings it means absolutely nothing.

Akinjo game is so college ready today. He could step into a major program and contribute right away. I don't see that in Hardy. He's a talent but I don't see him leading a team. Its not even close either.

@jordan24 are you saying Logan is better than James Akinjo? Not even close. Logan is a mid major player. Not even a true pg. he's athletic and talented. But James is a high major pg.

I like Logan and obviously his brother went under the radar and look what he's doing now. The athleticism alone puts him into an elite category. But at this stage in there careers Akinjo is quite a bit better and a much more legit PG prospect. From what I've seen he seems like a can't miss type talent at the next level.

If Logan's brother wasn't in the league or didn't develop in college like he did you guys would not be saying this. But once again Logan is a very good talent. More of a SG right now.

Akinjo competes on every play both sides of the floor. I've never seen any bad body language when something doesn't go his way. To me that speaks huge volumes on him as a person and combine that with his abilities and he is hands down the top guard in NorCal
