Be safe out there driving kidman32. Haven’t heard about Sanger but I certainly want to see him!I wonder how Sanger is…. He went down in a collision with Blair last night, and I don’t think he returned.
Mitty was also without their best player, Derek Sangster. I believe the announcers said he injured a wristJesuit falls to a tough Mitty squad 74-65.

Gonna be a battle when Mitty and Riordan clash in league twice, CCS Open and quite possibly NorCalIndeed. Great coaching, effort, and kids.
What tournament has Folsom been in that compares to Riordan or who have they scheduled in the Bay Area. Are they playing DLS, Campo, anyone from the WCAL. Giving them a 4th spot is pretty generous in my book. Got play in some early season battles to be in the top 5 in my opinion.Impressive.
My norcal top 5 after this weekend and not much separates any of these teams. Modesto Christian has the roster but needs to work out some kinks.
1. Modesto Christian
2. Mitty
3. Salesian
4. Folsom
5. Riordan
They beat Grant by 38, and beat Inderkum by 18. They look solid. Sure you could have slid Campo or St. Mary’s in there, but Folsom’s looking pretty good right now. What tournament has Folsom been in that compares to Riordan or who have they scheduled in the Bay Area. Yeah it’s nothing scientific or anything. Just a 10min list of who I thought was top 5 and campo, BRanson, Dublin , etc are probably all right there. They beat Grant by 38, and beat Inderkum by 18. There are literally a dozen teams that could all challenge for the top 5 if they get hot, and it really only matters who’s hot in the postseason. If Riordan hadn’t lost to Campo, I’m sure they’d have been ahead of 7-0 Folsom.
Pretty early to be having hard ranking when some teams might look quite a bit different in a month. From what I have heard rose borough is out for the year so that takes MT immediately out of it. I’m not sure if Sheldon has new guys coming in after the 30 days. Same with Inderkum. From the games played it’s fair to say Folsom looks the best so far.Yeah it’s nothing scientific or anything. Folsom ticks most of my boxes. They return a strong core team from last year that went deep in norcal d1. They have very good size at length. (6”4-6”7). They can score but also cam play a slower down game. And most important they play great man defense. Grant was without players but doesn’t matter. So they win by 20 instead of 40. They smashed Sheldon in foundation game as well. (I’m sure some excuse is coming). Jesuit will be much improved when Oakmont PG is eligible but I still think Folsom is the cream in greater sac.
Agreed. I don’t expect Folsom to get any transfers so there team is who is on the floor now which is good in my opinion because these kids are very cohesive together.Pretty early to be having hard ranking when some teams might look quite a bit different in a month. I was probably a little generous with MC based on roster and last year. Good list.My "right now" top 6 NorCal rankings:
Mitty
Salesian
Folsom
Dougherty Valley
Campo
Riordan
MC will almost certainly find its way into my list as we move on, but even with the national schedule they've played, 1 and 3 is still 1 and 3... So not yet.
Looks good. Mitty, Riordan and DV will have the toughest league schedules (EBAL and WCAL) this season and will help them as they enter Sections and NorCals. My "right now" top 6 NorCal rankings:
