You've got a school board and teacher's union that care about politics, their own paychecks and how best to **** over everyone else. Wonder why there are fewer children in San Francisco than ANY major city in the country and the FEWEST number of children in public school of any major city??

yahoo, google, amazon are more to blame.

What continues to perplex is the declared SF mantra about equality and under-served groups. It's a constant refrain. Then, when the school board people have a chance to step up and address their own preferred narrative, they fail and they do so in a very public manner. It's revealing. Girls' flag football but no boys' football? No basketball at all? Spare me the virtue-signaling. That game is over.

Please. None of those companies are in the city. They are in the peninsula. THE bottom line is Sa. FRANCISCO has a bunch of limousine lefties that talk about the kids. Etc. BUT in actuality they use these kids to push a backwards agenda.

This can be seen in the statement over the teachers refusing to go back into the classrooms. THIS pandemic will further the education gap that is prevalent in schools. I don't know how kids at the lower end in sf public schools will ever recover. It's s travesty.

but their staff live in the city. as well as every other start up tech company. those 20--30 people do not have high school kids and those that do are not sending them to public schools. the city demo has changed so the kids in high school have too.

These people are young. And or LIVE alternative lifestyles. If not they are detached. By the time they have kids they have moved out of the city to other areas of the bay area. I have seen this channel several times in last 15 years....And yes they more than likely have kids in privates or in suburban public schools.

What never ceases to amaze is the blatant, never-ending hypocrisy of so many San Francisco politicians and officials who preach and whine about fairness and equality and then do precisely the opposite when decision time comes..
