Acalanes Hires...

I heard through the grapevine that Margret Gardner (formerly C-Let coach) is the new girls coach at Acalanes. Anyone heard that? I think it's a great hire if true. If Kelly takes over at C-Let it could be a battle for getting kids. I think she also coaches Cal Stars younger teams.

Acalanes is often impacted, meaning its too crowded to accept any transfers at all. But Acalanes apparently will get a strong group of young players from 1,200-student Stanley Middle School in the fall of 2021. Students at Stanley have a fair amount of freedom when it comes to choosing to go to Acalanes or Campo.

Margaret did get the job -- will Bob Power, Elgin Leslie and Scott Espinoza-Brown be far behind?

I did hear that Scott Brown was a package with Margaret...so you never know.
