With Alabama offering Menlo-Atherton LB Daniel Heimuli on Tuesday, the Crimson Tide have offered a full handful of NorCal players.

Others are Henry To'oto'o, Isaiah Foskey, Isaiah Rutherford and Laiatu Latu.

Overall, they have offered 21 players in the state.

Just one more example of the stunning individual talent on that loaded 2017 Menlo-Atherton roster. Which makes the Bears' overall record so surprisingly disappointing.

With the exception of Southern California teams, some of which sport 10-12 D1 prospects, it's always been my opinion that the better high school teams are loaded with slightly slower, undersized guys that play as a team and with lots of heart.

Bubba sounds like your describing the Half Moon Bay team which beat MA 28-10 and has only 1 player going D-1 and that’s the place kicker Williams, who got a PWO @ Washington.

You can't teach chemistry. We see it all the time. I always say the teams I fear are a handful of low D1 & JC types that are hungry verse teams that have these "elite" offer players. Because a lot of times the better HS player is the one who actually isn't getting recruited because he doesn't "project" out at the next level. (whatever that means). Give me that 6"0 240 LB lineman who is in on every play verse the 6"5 270 kid who looks opposing but doesn't do shit but has Pac12 offers.

Interesting move by the HMB athletic director to head over the hill to Serra in the same capacity _ but full-time. He won't have to teach classes in the Land of the Papal Padres.

Ladouceur would fully agree with this. Several close calls over the decades by boundary laden publics possessing organic chemistry. Of 3-4 in sharp memory, only one had a D1 FB NLI (Monte Vista/Nottingham/The Farm.)
