the transfer portal has been extremely busy. Numerous players have decided to move on from their first choice.

Right, but was there a change in coaches, playing time expectation issues, or was she just homesick?

Ali's transfer may have something to do with getting enough playing time at a high-level, Pac-12 school, due a late season leg injury at Washington.
2019-20: Appeared in 27 games, making one start before suffering a season-ending leg injury on Feb. 23, 2020

I would think that Haley Van Dyke (Campolindo) will stay at Washington. 2019-20: Had a breakout sophomore season, finishing second on the team in scoring at 8.2 points per game while shooting 43.2% from the field ... one of six players to appear in all 30 games, making one start.

Time will tell if Nia Lowery (McClatchy) will stay at Washington. 2019-20: Did not play as a freshman after suffering foot injury prior to the start of the season.

Nice to see that Gigi Garcia (McClatchy) stayed on at Washington all this time, despite the injuries (she's a senior).
2019-20: Saw first collegiate action, making first collegiate start on Senior Day in Washington's upset win over No. 8 UCLA (2/23/20) ... won opening tip before subbing out then te-entered the game for final three seconds of the victory. ... did not play until Senior Day due to three ACL injuries suffered at Washington.

2018-19: Did not play due to injury.
2017-18: Did not play due to injury.
2016-17: Did not play due to injury.

That’s great that Gigi was able to close it out that way after so much adversity.
