Yeah crazy. It says on each proposed change of Riordan is unable to play and if Sheldon is unable to play. Wonder what constitutes wether they can or can not. Would love to see the games played myself.
I posted that games are back scheduled. It's up to the schools now to make it happen. CIF did their part by scheduling the games.

Wow, what would prevent the school from saying no. I know the Riordan situation is a tad more complicated being it’s a parent at that school. Hey I live in El Sobrante. I could get to De La Salle pretty quick. Might have to catch that game.
Elk Grove school district has already accepted the rescheduling of the game as they released a media statement. So for Sheldon I believe their in, As for Riordan I would only speculate without the facts but I am guessing they are waiting for test results and guidance on how to move forward.

Not true. Sheldon is still and EGUSD decision. All these bullshit tweets about Sheldon withdrew. The EGUSD school district said no
I just read on their Twitter account EGUSD sought to get reinstatement. I know Sheldon never withdrew it was the EGUSD that withdrew them but now they are saying they changed their mind. If I could post it I would. All in all hoping for best. I definitely don't want to argue just posting the media statements that have been released by the CIF and media outlets.
Not sure if they are playing yet, I know that CIF has scheduled the game and it's an option. Ball is in admin court now and whomever else who makes decisions.
The problem is the people that run the Elk Grove District lied about what they did and caused a huge backlash. Sheldon did nothing wrong. At least, the Elk Grove superintendent or Board showed a tad bit of common sense. Dublin had to agree to the changes in order to make it work and to their credit, they did.

The Elk Grove school district screwed up so badly that the Sheldon coach found out about it from the Dublin coach. If you read all the articles in the Sacramento papers, Mayor Steinberg and the Assembly members and State Senator were all extremely angry with the district as well.
Not the ending alot of us hoped for. Lot of up and down emotions for your family. Cant be understated that Bryce and the whole family will get stronger from this and continue to grow. It's over yes, but you guys always have each other. Forever.

So a “Postponed” game got canceled and a “Canceled” game is being played....My advice to Riordan is to simply get some parents and kids together and some news cameras. Boom!
I reflected a tad this AM and thought back on how special and excited the players were back in 2001 and 2002. It is truly a special moment when you are one of ten boys teams practicing in the state, now twelve of course. The efforts that Riordans current coaching staff and players have put into this are undeniable. From yelling in the locker room, guys calling on teammates, to executing to achieve that final moment is both stressful but more importantly exciting. And to have a season to end for kids like Bryce and Jelani and any other seniors is totally devastating. Hopefully the underclassmen will shoot for the same goals, cause their is no doubt this takes a toll on them as well. Saddest day I have seen in SF High school sports in a very long time. Have to feel bad for Lincoln as well.
