There has to be a better alternative than a coin toss. Though this would be a good place for discussion.

Coin tosses are the pussy way out. People are not going to be happy if a favorite losses their respective coin tosd.

Higher seeds move on and at least get the games where you are playing semi's and then finals maybe at a neutral site on the coast or north of the fires. (redding?) These 9 vs 1 games are a waste. Sorry you didn't do well in the reg season so its time to go home.
Take D2.

Rancho vs Granada
Campo vs ODOWD

Play game Monday Nov 19th.

NCS just play the games at SRJC or anywhere in Rosa or Ukiah have a jamboree and move everything back 1 week, easy peasy

Move games to Humboldt state, that stadium could use a few more games at it before it’s all said and done

I thought this was a good proposal (similar to CCS) but the AQI is also going up in the North Bay too

There is also Ukiah HS, Ft Bragg HS, Arcata HS, Eureka HS & Humboldt St. All have nice football fields. Air quality is fine in all of these areas. Get the games played!

The air quality is in the 90's in the Sac foothills right now and better as you get up in elevation a little.
Oak Ridge was scheduled to play MT but it got cancelled. Should have this game at OR tonight.
The air quality is in the 70's up near humboldt. Humboldt state great venue.

Humboldt seems to be the only viable solution. Santa Rosa is out. Was in Marin yesterday and there’s no way. The Open division may be ok since they have more time to get the Clayton game in. Oakley is horrid right now. I don’t see how any games are played today or tomorrow.

They may forgo the Sunday rule. It has been done in the past and is actually being used by CCS this year as the Cross Country sectionals are being held on a Sunday in Salinas.

So for those saying there is no precedence they need not.look any further than this year
