Was Brookside beating Newman really an upset? They are ranked higher and have 3 D1 players. They had a signature win against Salesian and a very close loss against SHC. The seedings didn't fit the talent/team on that one. Not taking anything away but people I talked to thought Brookside was slightly better and expected to win that game. Newman returns virtually everybody so I would expect them to get back to this stage and further in the next few years.
Any team with seven or less has to give Donovan an advantage. I go with team Donovan. Now, if you had 12 players and they all had to play equally Team Sue gets it done as all three coaches are known for depth development. Three coaches, Nate Fripp, Bryan Gardere and Doc Schepler need to be added into the list and have their own team as well.
