That might be somewhat true. But I'm pretty sure they must be a pretty good team for where they are at this point. And they will most likely get better in the next season or two. How many section championships has this group of BC players been in? Many things can determine the outcome of a game when it is that close. I think to knock them for losing a section championship game (in overtime) to the #1 seed is coming down a bit hard on them. Best wishes to both teams moving forward. Congratulations to Antelope.

BC did a good job with 2 freshman guards that play a lot of minutes. Antelope not exactly known for playing top competition.

You don't this coach like I do. He is one of those coaches that's y very cut throat. That's why in the past summer leagues that I coach at Brookside I made sure the tram never let up and blew them by 30 with a 8 minute running clock. My last year he coach my PG for AAU and told her not to play summer league for Brookside. That year Brookside Blew them by 40 and walk away without shaking hands!!!!!

That may be true, your right .......I don't know a lot of things. But I was just trying to put the proper perspective on a game where I'm sure all the kids gave it their best. And none of the kids have a reason to hang their heads down in defeat IMO.

I my interview after the game, I stated both teams played a great game and possibly the best game of the section finals. It was a shame that either had to lose, as both team played their hearts out and deserved to win. I gave compliments to Bear Creek kids, as this is a long journey with a lot of demands placed on high school players. I have nothing but praise for the Bear Creek team and coaching staff. Very impressive both teams were showcased/led by freshmen and some really good senior leadership who allowed the younger girls to shine.

The kids are great. I know 3 players of them personally. Nothing against team just someone that has issues.

First off I never get on message boards (and hopefully this will be my last).

I want to first recognize Sean Chambers and the Antelope squad, they are an awesome program who play the game extremely hard, and with great discipline. They will continue to be one of the top teams in Northern California with an incredibly young lineup.

I want like to recognize the BC Bruins, you grind everyday, and have turned Bear Creek from an unknown entity, into a respectable program.

Regarding the comments made earlier. Lets set the record straight: the PG loved Pico and would have played with him all summer, she did not want to play with you. I had no influence on her decision. Second, I was not at the summer game when you beat us by 40, I was in LA at a USJN event and so was half my team. If someone didn't shake your hand, that is unfortunate. We played Brookside during the season, and it was a great game, where we loss 57-44. I have always shaken the opponent's hand.

Good Luck to all teams in Norcals.
