are these teams that are still in the playoffs practicing? seems the concern is game day BUT are teams practicing outside? some areas are better than others therefore teams might be able to be outside and hit keep in football shape and others watching film? is there a concern ? who makes the practicing rules outside right now is it a NCS or is it up to the school to make the decisions.

I can't verify what exactly each school has been doing, but I know Folsom and Del Oro haven't had an AQI >80 at game time the last 2 weeks (I check it before I walk each night @ 7:30pm). There hasn't been more than 1 night last week that I could say that the smell was even present of smoke. Last Thursday I had a meeting just a few miles up HWY 50 and the difference was amazing! Just a couple hundred feet of elevation and WHAM it was like a wall of smoke to where the sun looked like an orange on a grey sheet!
10 minutes later, it's clear skies and I can see Tahoe in the distance!

It seems like the Foothill area has been good for a little bit now. It is the rest of the section that has some issues
Some of the Valley teams are coming up to the foothills to get 1, maybe 2 days of practice. Going to schools that aren't in the playoffs.
Can't say about the Liberty area, but I live practically in-between DLS and CVC and the air has been over 150 every day for a good while now... I think the last time it was clear enough (and barely at that) was the 10th, when I attended the DLS-Sac hoops scrimmages at DLS.
I ran into Coach Billeci last week at a local restaurant and I got the feeling they were limited to one hour practices indoors
