Azusa Pacific, a SoCal small college, has announced it is dropping football after 55 years of competition.
So like many a things I think this was an easy way out. 1 season shouldnt break them if they were doing as good as you say. They do not generate that much money and damn near every school outside of power 5 loses money on football. So I think this was the nail in the coffin and a excuse to close up.No way the program gets canceled if they are actually playing a season. Same with Occidental.
Not sure how legit this program will be. But Lincoln University, a one building school in downtown Oakland is starting Football in the fall.

Oddly I live right around the corner and I have never seen anyone entering or exiting the building. I did not even think it was still open. Not sure how legit this program will be. But Lincoln University, a one building school in downtown Oakland is starting Football in the fall.
