The Bay Area News Group has released their All-Decade Team. Najee Harris named offensive player of the decade, while other top offensive players include: Jared Goff, Davante Adams, Joe Mixon, Troy Franklin, Austin Hooper, Aaron Banks, Tyler Manoa, Boss Tagaloa, Freddie Tagaloa & Alijah Vera-Tucker.

Defense: Player of the decade Ben Burr-Kirven. Isaiah Foskey, Antonio Mafi, Joshua Pakola, Vita Vea, Michael Hutchings, Nate Landman, Henry To’oto’o, Chidobe Awuzie, TaRiq Bracy, Kevin King & Marcus Peters.

Specialists: Utility Shamar Garrett, Kick return Amir Carlyle, Kicker Peyton Henry & HC Justin Alumbaugh.

Special Mention:
Larry Allen, Steven Anderson, Devin Asiasi, Jacob Bandes, Landon Baty, BJ Boyd, Jay Butterfield, DJ Calhoun & Keller Chryst.

Scooby Wright? Huh. How is he not on this list? Incredible 2 way player at Newman between 2010-12.
One of greatest defensive seasons in college football history at Arizona and Still playing pro football. Were these only recent players?

He might not have been considered a Bay Area player. It’s mostly players from the CC times & Mercury News subscription areas.

Surprised Asiasi is only Honorable Mention.... I think he was better on the D Line then Foskey and he was a Great TE in a Non Throwing Offense....

He even Got lots of playing time at TE as a true Freshman at Michigan.....

Great List though!!... A Lot of Great Players on that list!!!....

I agree. I thought he was better than Hooper in HS, but Hooper’s NFL career locked down his votes here.

Surprised Tak McKinley wasn't mentioned. He was a nightmare at Kennedy (Richmond) and in College and still plays a significant role for the Atlanta Falcons.
