Bellarmine drove more than 70 yards before settling for a FG to lead Milpitas 3-0 in Q1

This game could get ugly. The Bells look too fast and physical so far.

That 6-8, 300 freshman offensive tackle on Milpitas is going to be a load in a couple years. Will proibably be playing at a top level D1 program like his brother.

Bells look like they are more precise and quick on offense, and disciplined on defense so far. Milpitas has some speed as well, but will have get some breaks to win this game. Milpitas has some athletes.

Milpitas is running double tight doublewing and the Bells have been a doublewing team a long time. It is wild to see two doublewing teams play on the same field in this day and age...let alone in the championship.

I saw Milpitas v Saratoga, that was the first game they ran it full time. A couple series the came out in spread and got shut down. Looks like they went double wing and never looked back after that.

Milpitas is HUGE & Bell's are really FAST! Bell's execute very well and Milpitas cannot stop their run game. Bell's got sloppy end of 1/2 and let Milpitas right back in it. Milpitas does not have the pass game the Bell's have. As long as Bell's play up to take on the run Milpitas is in trouble.
Then again will Milpitas size wear down the smaller Bell's in 2nd 1/2? Waiting for McCauley to break one as he usually does or Martig on a QB draw. One thing is for certain though that Bell's cannot contain Milpitas rush when Martig drops back in to pass without rolling out - I think Milpitas dropped him for losses at least 3 times.

Milpitas kepy it competitive and Bell's miscues gave Milpitas opportunitites to stay in the game. In the end Bell's have a passing game & Milpitas does not. Bell's could concentrate on Milpitas run game & with a speed advantage was able to contain it. Both good teams & a reason why Bell's were 11-1 and defeated SF, Serra, Riordan & Del Oro.

Looks like Bellarmine 26, Milpitas 13, Final. Any feelers on Milpitas from this game and how they might do in regionals?

Bellarmine outplayed Milpitas from frist snap to the close. Well deserved championship for the Bells

Year in year out arguably the biggest and best athletes in the valley are at Milpitas. If anyone could ever get in there to get that group to play with just a little discipline and hard for four quarters there is not a team in the CCS that could touch them. Until then they will flame out
