Menlo-Atherton closes the quarter with five straight points and trail 11-10 after one. Malone and Morris have nine of Berkeley's points.

I arrive just in time for this after a 2-game set at American Canyon...

So far, a good one... 28-26 Jackets at the half. C. Fioretti of MA and N Malone of Berkeley have 12 each. Looked at first that Berkeley's quickness was gonna trump the day, but MA adjusted well and their own halfcourt traps caused Berk to have problems. Nobody in foul trouble thus far.
