Mitty head coach Bill Hutton announced his upcoming retirement following the 2015 season.

He will be replaced by Brian Yocke, the current Mitty softball coach.

Coach told me a couple weekends ago when we held a clinic at his school. I consider him an icon and the dean of high school baseball in Northern California. One of the top coaches and mentors in the country and a better person.

Hutt = Best HS coach in America. I am certain of it.

He is not only a great coach, he was a terrific compliment to our job of parenting as he mentored our son on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom. Our son exited his school and program as a much better player and a better person. As NCSF says, Hutt himself is even a better person than he is a coach.

Our family will always be grateful for him being in our lives. We love that guy!
