Cal Poly has been busy in the past month. Two more additions are San Ramon Valley's TE/DE Tyler Hoffman and Foothill-Pleasanton ATH Kenny Olson.

IMO, the current recruiting landscape could favor FCS programs in landing quality high school prospects that are passed over by bigger schools that are looking more into the transfer portal

Agree streak. Cal poly also got Jake Woods from those great Newman teams a few years ago. He transferred from North Arizona. That roster is littered with norcal kids.

It's nice to see a kid from Foothill play ball at Cal Poly. To my knowledge the last known Falcon to move on and play for the Mustangs is Johnny Millard from 2009.

When my son was at Cal Poly the roster was pretty much 1/3 Norcal kids and 2/3 Socal kids with very few from out of state. That ratio pretty much mirrors the population difference between Norcal and Socal. It seems lately that more and more Norcal kids are favoring Cal Poly and the program rewarding their love. It should be interesting to see if in the next three or four years if Cal Poly can become more competitive with UC Davis and Sacramento State.
