What does DLS have returning for 2022?
Not from me but someone who followed all year…year in school is for next seasonWhat does DLS have returning for 2022?
I hope you’re right. I have spent years defending DLS.Not from me but someone who followed all year…year in school is for next season
QB Carson Su'esu'e 6'4" 190 Jr. Huge potential and already holds D1 offers.
QB/DB Toa Fa'ave 6'0" 180 So. Staring QB on freshman, Reminds me of Dorian Hale (lefty). Very athletic and honestly could be starter if Su'esu'e wasn't on team.
RB/DB Charles Greer 5'10" 180 Sr. Best running back this past season. I predict 2,000 yard season.
RB/DB Derrick Blanche 5'8" 165 So. JV's best RB as a freshman.
RB/DB Amari Reese 6'0" 185 So. Beast at OLB/SS on JV as freshman. Multiple pick 6's/fumble returns.
RB/LB Marley Alapati 5'10" 195 Jr. Returning starter at LB/SS
RB/LB Dylan Greeson 5'10" 190 Sr. Apparently has a couple offers to play college football. Didn't see his get much playing time this past season. Was he injured?
RB/LB Peter Rachwald 6'0" 210. One of those LB types I could see also playing center on the offensive line.
WR/DB Journey McCoy 5'11" 165 Sr. Best WR/DB returning. Reminds me of Lu-Magia Hearns.
WR/DB Sam Iosia 6'0" 175 Jr. Started on both sides of ball for JV.
WR/LB I don't know name. He was #18 on JV last year but isn't listed on the roster. He might've been a freshman who go moved up to JV later in the season. Very physical and pancaked several players blocking and was physical with the ball in his hands.
TE/DL Cooper Flanagan 6'5" 235 Sr. All American? Expect him to fulfill his full potential in his senior year similar to how Isaiah Foskey did his final season as a Spartan.
TE/LB Drew Cunningham 6'4" 195 Jr. Saw good playing time at OLB as a sophomore on Varsity this past season. Great frame to add weight.
TE/LB John Arcidiacono 6'3" 195 Sr. Played a lot of DE, but expect him to shift to OLB based on the depth the Spartans have at DE.
TE/LB Colton Seastrand 6'2" 190 Jr. Was on varsity as a sophomore, but was mainly a backup. Brother Clayton (Class of 20) was similar build but grew to 6'2" 230 by senior year.
TE/DL Matthew Johnson 6'4" 210 So. Future D1 player and Spartan star. Caused havoc as freshman on JV.
OL/DL Cooper Powers 6'4" 265 Sr. Returning starter at RT, will play college football
OL/DL Derek Thompson 6'2" 275 Sr. Best OL, will play college football
OL/DL Tommy Rainsford 6'2" 240 Sr. Started at LG last season
OL/DL Chase Tofaeono 5'11" 240 Sr. Returning DT, may play OL as well
OL/DL Kai Moananu-Apela 6'5" 235 Jr. JV's DE opposite Johnson, raw talent with huge potential. Great mobility for his size. Honestly surprised he wasn't on varsity.
In looking at the postI have gone over Saint Francis player by player roster for next year. I said last year teams would the watermark for the Lancers
I was wrong Saint Francis will be much better this yesr.
Checkout this DLS. Team
I love DLS but check out but they are back sliding
Im done for the year. Merry to Christmas to all
In reviewing the post above on what DLS has coming back, rather than back sliding, it looks like they have more talent returning for 2022 than this year. I real qb for a change, multiple rb's, and some stud lineman and linebackers. Don't get where WCAL75 is coming from re. back sliding?I have gone over Saint Francis player by player roster for next year. I said last year teams would the watermark for the Lancers

Looking at the number of Jr's and So's getting Varsity game time combined with a Jv team which went 7-1 this past season the prospects look encouraging. In looking at the post

Not true at all. A lot of regions have large populations. The top Tier SoCal is Just so much better than norcal. Hell it’s better than basically anybody in the country. It’s almost all population driven. Folsom returns quite a roster and a very good jv team. They need to find a QB to run there system.
So Mac,Folsom and Pittsburg must have the same culture of funneling talent since the rest of the HS in their cities are horribleNot true at all. A lot of regions have large populations.
This is driven by a culture that is funneling the majority of talent to a handful of programs. LB Poly is good... the rest of Long Beach is bad. Corona Centennial is good, the rest of Corona is horrible. Mission Viejo is good, the rest of Mission Viejo is terrible. Actually, even MV is somewhat of a B-squad for kids that don't make it at Mater Dei. It isn't even just in SoCal alone... their RB was from Stockton.
This has been going on for years, but it's reaching higher levels now.
The Oakland district seems to be making some sort of concession to McClymond's due to its small enrollment. Yes, something fishy is going on there. So Mac,Folsom and Pittsburg must have the same culture of funneling talent since the rest of the HS in their cities are horrible
Fair enoughThe Oakland district seems to be making some sort of concession to McClymond's due to its small enrollment. Yes, something fishy is going on there.
There is only one high school in Pittsburg. No comparison.
There is only one other high school in Folsom and it is a smaller, lower-division school (D-IV, the SJS still largely uses enrollment for their divisions).
In the cases of Corona, Mission Viejo, and Long Beach, the remaining schools are just as big or bigger than Centennial, MV, and Poly.
You may have been a tad weary when you wrote this because it's not that clear ...are you saying SF will be better next year than this past fall?I have gone over Saint Francis player by player roster for next year. I said last year teams would the watermark for the Lancers

you are wrong. Look at the kids that come out of CA, Florida, Texas, and GA. All pop driven. Look up a roster. When usc had Those great teams with carrol virtually there entire roster was from within 100 miles. When. UCLA hoop team won national champ there starting 5 was all from SoCal!Not true at all. A lot of regions have large populations.

Definitely population driven in California and Texas. The top teams in Texas have huge enrollments, 5 to 6 thousand in some cases, and are in suburbs around the major cities. You know what the situation is in California. However, in Georgia and Florida and other southern states many of the top teams and players are from smaller towns, and some top players have come from really small schools. Many of the rural areas have county high schools with players coming from a number of small towns in the county. They don't have a huge population base to draw from like the Trinity League teams do in Southern California but they still manage to turn out good players.you are wrong. I’m not talking about where they in NorCal. I’m talking about where they are state. The day the best MD will be a day of celebrationIn looking at the post

Wow, OK. Lancers re-loading. With so many underclassmen playing varsity now, picking a favorite is tricky.
Remember when the DLS lines were completely dominated on both sides, in a regional bowl game, AT DLS!?In looking at the post

Okay, so a one point victory by Folsom and they dominated the DLS lines?Remember when the DLS lines were completely dominated on both sides, in a regional bowl game, AT DLS!?
I do.
Uh....oh boy..... well wait till he finds out about sliced white bread ............Okay, so a one point victory by Folsom and they dominated the DLS lines?
Yes- watch the tape.Okay, so a one point victory by Folsom and they dominated the DLS lines?
lol u funny sonAny top 10 that only has one NCS team is biased and illegitimate. Heritage would beat several teams on that list.
Probably not. Their appearance in the state's Open Division bowl game would indicate they were regarded as the No.1 team in NorCal in 2021. Repeating that seems like a stretch at this juncture. And that's not criticism at all.At first I thought that was Serra Gardena on that list.
Is the Serra San Mateo team on this list better than the one from last season?

The SoCal transfer train express doesn't run daily in NorCal fortunately.Nor Cal seems like a really big area to just have three schools in the mix.
Logan? They dropped off a cliff around 2014 or so. Demographics changed drastically, many haved moved further into the east bay or central valley. So according to the list above, the top teams in Nor Cal are Serra, Folsom, and DLS. Are their any other teams in Nor Cal with a chance to knock any of those teams off?
What about St. Francis, VC, Central Catholic, James Logan, Menlo Atherton, California, Monta Vista?
