California Exodus Thoughts

Because of the changes in the California HS schedule we are started to see families take their children out of state for sports. I know this isn't just a basketball subject but my expertise is in the hoop realm. We have seen players locally leave and just heard about Mikey Williams going to NC. I wanted get thoughts about this from the sports community. Do you think people are double dipping? (leaving and planing to come back so they can play two seasons in one year) Do yall anticipate out of state kids flooding into CA when our season starts. Is this good or bad for the culture?

They are gone for the year. A kid like Williams I don’t see him coming back anyways he will most likely bounce around prep schools his last few years.

I think if you leave a state and play high school season elsewhere that is enough for the year.
