Calpreps.com is a useful, but often misunderstood tool. They have pulled a series of tweets from Twitter to respond to in order to help inform their users an some of the workings of the site. If you are interested in that kind of thing, it's a useful read.

A number of the responses are either oversimplified or in contrast to other statements they’ve made.

Most of the whining… er, tweets were from sportswriters in SoCal trying to defend their local region. They yearn for the day when their 10-0 teams were graced with the privilege of kicking in the teeth of some poor 5-5 team that had no business playing them instead of facing real competition… you know, like in the NCS.

I kid… sort of.

Thanks for sharing… I definitely like tweet# 34 that highlighted the competitiveness of equity/parity playoffs vs enrollment based playoffs.

It definitely makes for some real competitive games/playoffs.
