Check back to NorCal Preps Nov 23-24 there was a post about PrepQb showcase posted by Streak 1 and attended by poster the legendary northbayfb who did a scouting report on Su'esu'e. There are more scouting observations on the Spartanhood website. Kid has the tools to be one of Sparty's best slinger, he showed up at 6'5'and 185 lbs as a freshman Qb. Right now looks like Alumbaugh is sticking with Senior Luke Dermon who's not the homerun slinger like his predecessor, Hale but he can move the chains and does run with the ball when the opprtunity avails itself; according to reports from last Friday's scrimmage with Pitt ran the veer pretty well for an early season tuneup.

DLS is Very high on the kids in the program playing o-line and d-line right now…

What really impressed me is the versatility of the offense with this kid…. Those were JV games and look at all the passing sets mixed in with the veer….

His running looks good but I didn’t see any runs where he Broke long ones by making dudes miss…. But, he looks like a Matt Gutierrez Type and that kid was Awesome!!!!!….. Wether he starts this year or not the future is bright at QB with DLS!!!….

There are a handful of plays in there where they have the spilt backs with him Under Center the veer formation…. There was one play where he faked the run and passed….

But you are right, There are no plays where he handed off or faked the hand off and kept it…. All the plays where he ran looked like designed QB runs….

Since this is a Highlight film for the QB I figured they just left out the veer runs where he handed off…. 🤣

Live arm but throwing from pretty clean pocket. I was more impressed with OL and receivers in that clip than I was him
