Agreed. Someone needs to get him on the roster . . . . . UC Davis needs a guard with the loss of Clark.

this is the strangest one I can recall in a long time.. (what am i missing) kid has d1 size and athleticism. he would be one of the best players on sac states team right now. (not saying much i know)

Some other factors in play. Not about lack of talent. I don't have any firsthand knowledge but it happens with a lot of kids

This is not a fact but a very educated guess. He is like a lot of guys who have people in their ear telling them how great they are and are a pac 12 talent etc and they end up blowing off all the small and mid major type schools when they contact them.

The kid can play though. He certainly is Big Sky, WCC, Big West worthy. And CAL is garbage so why can't he play there.

For some reason I thought he had offers from UCD and UOP. What happened to the offers? Kid is clearly a D1 level player regardless of conference.

1+1 doesn't = 2 with this one. Something is missing. His skill set is so high level. He passes all the test.
maybe he has to go jc? I have no idea but agree he is a d1 player and not a tweener.

UOP has an offer for Chappell a scholarship from what I've seen on "Verbal Commit" website as well as UOP's website??

Yes tophoops I also saw on "Verbal Commits" website that he has an offer from UOP & also on UOP's site as well? Maybe he's just weighing his options?

Ok if he has an offer from UOP that makes sense. Putting together a nearly .500 season over there in stockton. Not a bad option and a good young coach. And this kid would play day 1.

Yes to my knowledge & what I've read from sites like "Verbal Commits" UOP has an offer for Chappell, but it's very difficult draw to get great athletes to come to UOP being that the academic standard for student/athletes to be admitted is tough in itself, those athletes usually end up at Stanford & the real Elite end up at ur Dukes of the world, but I will say this, Stoudemire has them playing to their maximum talent...
