McClatchy beat Lincoln-Stockton and Christian Brothes beat Del Oro (58-34) to set up a good finals matchup.

FRIDAY'S GAME (YESTERDAY):
McClatchy beat Lincoln-Stockton, 63-50. Biggest McClatchy lead was 16 points in the 3Q. Lincoln closed to within 9 points in the 4Q, but never got closer.

SATURDAY'S GAMES
For 3rd Place:
Lincoln-Stockton beat Del Oro, 50-29. Biggest Lincoln lead was 24 points in the 3Q. This game was never close. Lincoln-Stockton (last year's tournament champs -- McClatchy didn't play in it last year) dominated Del Oro the entire game.

For 1st Place:
McClatchy easily beat Christian Brothers (CBS), 62-42. Biggest McClatchy lead was 27 points in the 3Q. At halftime, McClatchy lead 31-16. This game was never close either. Yesterday's McClatchy vs. Lincoln-Stockton game was the closest and really should have been the tournament final, but the host team, CBS had the easier opponents in the first two games. McClatchy probably had the strongest three opponents in the tournament to maintain its high strength of schedule.

McClatchy moves to 6-2 overall, with losses to Archbishop Mitty and a 3-point loss to St. Mary's - Stockton.
