People who are way smarter than me, please help me out.

CCS and NCS-All open teams advance to Norcals, plus the two finalists in D1-5? or do the semi-finalist make it as well?

SJS- No open, so the final four of D 1-5 make it to Norcals? If one of those teams gets pulled into the Norcal Open then a team like Folsom can still get in?

Thank you in advance

NCS semifinalists in D3 -D5 make it. Only the finalists in D1 and D2, plus the open teams

I wonder the same thing about Folsom. Have no idea if their season is over

Yep, if a team gets pulled up to the Open then another team from that bracket, will be selected from the top-rated seeded team to lose. Folsom will go to Open before Weston Ranch unless the Cougars win the SJS. Folsom, MC, Jesuit, Inderkum should be locks based on regular season, rankings, league champions.

Correct so the Final 4 Make it to Norcals - WR, JESUIT, MC , INDY
then one at large to highest ranked team that lost in 2nd round = Folsom.

BUT they seed the Norcal rankings based off the SJS section results.

So WR/Jesuit will be higher than Folsom.

and Capital that would of been a lock is screwed because Ranch beat Folsom and CC was suppose to be that 1 at Large team from D1.

Folsom will be in D1 Norcals not open. (They will be ranked high) so that helps Ranch get a very good high seed as well.

IF Jesuit wins tonight and goes to the SJS championship I say
Jesuit, Indy, MC all go to the OPEN from SJS

Ranch
Folsom
Rio Americano
D1 Norcals

Folsom is #1 seed of SJS via MaxPreps. They will be a Open team.

LOL they lost in the 2nd Round. Thats like saying Inderkum last year (WHO WAS #1 SEED) lost in the Semis ..

PS they didnt go to the OPEN

Folsom will not be in the open. I could see them doing very well in norcal d1 which seems like a crime to me after losing at home to WR.
I think Jesuit will take care of a very scrappy and hot WR team. Jesuit was 4-25 from 3 when MT nearly beat them. That isn’t happening again. MC hasn’t lost to a norcal team yet. Im guessing you will get your monies worth at this game.

Why wouldn’t NCS D2 get semis in if 3-5 do? Is that because the NCS open creates to much pressure on D1 and D2?

But I would bet a lot of money Folsom is not an open team

NCS has 6 Open spots. So to do that they only allow the top 2 in D1, D2 & D3. There is however 1 At Large bid available in NCS, which goes to the highest seeded team in D1, D2 or D3 to lose in the semis.

So if 1 seed Campo were to lose to CN tonight, they’d still get an Open bid. If not, it may go to Cal who was the 3 seed in D1 and lost last night to Moreau. Las Lomas is the 3 seed in D3, and could also be in the mix if they were to lose tonight. Piner & Redwood were 2 seeds, but both lost in the quarterfinals.

If Campo loses, they'll get a spot in the State tourney. But not the open
