A check of the CIF Central Section basketball web pages indicates that, yes, Clovis West (and other section standouts) will compete in the SoCal regionals in 2017. That's very good news for NorCal teams. There had been some speculation that the Central Section would send its teams to the NorCal playoffs in March. If anyone has additional info on these matters, feel free to chime in.

Erin Davenport of CIF told me there is a possibility that a Central Section team could be moved into the north. Three of the 26 regional football games involved a Central Section team being moved to the north.
