Cook-Taylor dies

Sorry to learn of the death of Ivonne Cook-Taylor, a former standout guard/forward at Terra Nova HS and Texas Tech. According to the San Mateo Daily Journal, the cause of death was a vehicular accident.

It is always hard to fathom a person in this age range dying. She was a terrific high school player

I saw her play quite a number of times in high school. Played on a team that had three Division 1 players. Terribly sad.
