Yup, I’m here at the home of the Spartans, where they take on College Park.

CP is only 14-13, but they tend to put up a good battle, rarely finding themselves out of games late... They just have trouble winning ‘em.

They earned the right to face top-seeded DLS by nipping Foothill 58-55 in the Div. 1 NCS first round.

DLS is 19-7 and ranked #3 in the section and is the #1 seed in Div. 1.

On paper, it looks rather like a mismatch, but ya never know...

Not very far at all for College Park, and their fan section behind the CP bench is already pretty full...

The DLS side, well.... Not so much. Hoping for a nice, loud game here...

Noah scores inside, hacked... (hey, I remembered a name). FT good, but CP scores right back. DLS scores in a crowd... 15-10.

DLS rebounds a miss, nifty move gets a Spartan bucket with a few seconds left... but CP knocks down a 3 at the buzzer! 17-13 Spartans after 1.

CP scores inside... 20-15.

Noah with the ball fake, nice pass... DLS score. 22-15.

Noah again! A putback this time... DLS steal and fast break, suddenly they’re up 11.

Spartans on a roll now... Short J falls, 28-15, time out Falcons! 5:10 left in the half.

Steal and score by. CP... 28-17.

Big Noah scores inside. 30-17. Fans yelling, “WEIGHT ROOM! WEIGHT ROOM!”

2:50 left...SWEET backdoor pass leads to FT’s for the Spartans. Both good. 35-17.

Another 3 for the Spartans, CP right back with an inside score. 38-19.

FINE inside dish leads to 2 for the Spartans... 40-19.

Spartan putback score, the rout is def. ON. 42-19.

Finally, a 3 for CP... 42-22.

I've seen DLS play twice this year against top notch out of state teams and come away victorious so I must be their lucky charm. I really like their team and think they'll be a force to be reckoned with in NorCals D1 and in next years Open.
