.... to go? Never thought much of him as an Xs n Os guy but he could always recruit. He hasn't signed a contract extension and now a sex scandal on his staff has arisen. We'll see...

He was gone as soon as the sex scandal hit, and he allegedly sat on it; everyone knows you have to report and act on this as soon as you are made aware of the allegation. Losing yesterday will have nothing to do with the administration's decision, because IMO their decision was already made. The real question is whether Rabb and Brown go off to the NBA; IMO with the right coach in place, Rabb stays because he not only needs too, but wants to stick around at least another year, but Brown is out of there, regardless and despite a poor showing yesterday. IMO Browns game is more suited for the NBA, where he can take advantage of the spacing and floor balance to drive and finish more effectively.

I don't know much about the scandal but a school like CAL will have no patience for that and if he stayed quiet.

Rabb should stay another year. He needs to get stronger and develop more. Brown is gone.

Hope Rabb stays another year, but also understand that he came to Cal because of Martin. As for Brown, agreed that regardless what happens he is bound for the Association.

This is one of the weakest drafts in years. Keep these kids in school and develop. Can't believe nba teams spending all this money and hoping they develop. Some do some don't. Why not use college? It's free to the nba.

Even under a new coach Rabb will play and get better. I hope cal sends a message and fires some people connected to this sex thing.

I know Brown will be an NBA player, but I watched almost every CAL game and I really think he needs another year or 2. His shot is still inconsistent and as we saw yesterday most of his buckets come off bullying his way to the hoop (gets a lot of charges) and in the NBA he won't be able to do that because guys are a lot stronger. I know he will get drafted if he enters the draft, but I don't see him being ready to play for a few more years. Rabb could use another year too, but I honestly think he is more NBA ready than Brown, Cal just did horrible job of getting him involved. It seemed like whenever he got the ball something good happened.

Too many unknowns at Cal right now. If I was their advisor, I would recommend getting in the draft. Address areas for continuous development in the big league. Malik Pope comes to mind. Had he opted for the draft after his freshman year, he would have been highly drafted. Look at his stock today.
