Looks like Ponderosa continues to roll. They went 4-0 improving to 13-0 on season to win bronze. Probably should have played up to be honest but they had good wins over Rialto and JW North.
Circle Jan 15th non league game against Burbank. That will be the biggest opportunity for them to get challenged until playoffs.

I believe Centennial Corona won the big boy division with Etiwanda coming in 3rd.

Pondo appears to be usually pretty good, but with the big man being a senior now, and probably a good number of others, they are having a magical season.

I doubt that even their own coach expected them to jump to this high level, and I would think tourney people like atDamian were surprised.

Every year tournaments are screwed up by transfers, injuries, and other instances. Overall I feel they do a pretty good job at most tournaments matching up the teams. I'd personally like to see Gridley in the Gridley playing a team they could realistically beat. I hear great things about the tourney, but it has to be disheartening not to get a win in years. I guess it's all about the experience.

But overall, most tournaments do a great job of having big Championships, and sometimes even the 3rd place games are pretty good!

In most eight-team tournaments, it tends to be semifinals night that has the best games.

Kidmann, this was their year. Very high expectations. Clark woods one of better young coaches around. They still have several transfers not cleared. The Core kids grew up together though. . This is one of those old school teams that you take lightly in warmups and then realize your down 30. Bliss will make some college very happy and the lefty PG will play somewhere too. But you are correct in terms of very heavy senior team.
