well we are a month away from the season what is the pecking order looking like in these
Two leagues.

Dougherty Valley should take the DFAL this year even with the loss of Fadal. DLS should take EBAL but you can never count out Monte Vista.

What's the report on Dougherty Valley? I think Campo, Las Lomas and Dublin will also be near the top.

They return 3 all league players and have a few good kids coming up from last years JV team. Gabe Manansala and Jushun Smara improved a lot over the summer.

I don't know about DV "should", but they'll have a pretty good squad this year. Campo is still the favorite in my book until someone knocks them off.
In the EBAL DLS "should" take it just based on their talent alone, and I think the new coach AJ will open up the offense and we'll get to see a lot more of their offensive talents this year as well. But like you said you can never count out MV, as Nick Jones has done an incredible job at that school since taking over a few years ago. And of course SRV is returning state D1 champs, but has lost a lot from last year.

I believe miramonte and Dv return the most starters and will be near the top i agree campo still has to be the favorite with austin clark and if they get sterling back in the mix.Dublin should be good also and they probaly have the league mvp on there team it appears the league race will be tight this year.I think the ebal is a runaway this year with dela clearly at the top but i am sure the games with mv will still be a battle.

Since the questions originated with DFAL, I have to give the nod to Campo. I am not sold on DV as the league champ just yet. They might be returning a decent squad and have some talent from lower levels but this league has too many teams that can beat you on a nightly basis. T. Falls from Dublin should be fun to watch this year.
For the EBAL it is DLS and that is that. I look at this league as two groups and there is a distinct difference between the top and bottom teams. MV is well coached and should be competing for a promising post season. SRV is also well coached and will have to replace almost everyone that made contributions to their title run. The other teams have moments of looking good but lack the consistency that the big three continue to show. Rhatino is the clear MVP for this league.

In DFAL, Las Lomas will put the most talent on the floor this year. They could be really good. That's not to say they'll win it. Campo with Clarke, Sterling and Yamamoto are the champs until they're not. DV will be tough night in and night out but they will miss Fadal. The all-league returners they have are nice players, but Fadal was their blue-chipper. Miramonte and Dublin are notch below. The Falls kid at Dublin can score.
