Acalanes beat Alhambra 34-14
Miramonte beat Las Lomas 34-14
Campolindo beat Dougherty Valley 41-0

Standings:

Campolindo 2-0
Miramonte 2-0
Acalanes 1-0
Dougherty Valley 1-1
Dublin 0-1
Alhambra 0-2
Las Lomas 0-2

October 9 Schedule:

Acalanes at Dublin
Alhambra at Campolindo
Miramonte at Dougherty Valley

What we have learned:

Campo is still king in the DFAL but Miramonte is really good and could beat them this year.

Dublin is the real deal @ 4-1 and will likely take 3rd.

Acalanes is not as bad as we thought but will be tested in Dublin at their homecoming. DV is a pretender that mopped up early with a weak schedule.

Las Lomas is bad and Alhambra is not far behind.

Trivalley.....After Friday nights Alhambra loss to Acalanes, it sure shows that the bulldogs have become a group of underperformers as last year the Alhambra JV team went 9-1 and now have turned into the league whipping boy....DV looked to be coming on strong in the preseason and I thought they would give Campolindo a game, instead it was a complete route, so it looks like DV Las Lomas and Alhambra will be the cellar dwellers, with Alhambra being on the bottom unless they wake up.... And the shake up at Miramonte has proved to be rolling in the right direction as they have become a scoring machine and should give Campolindo more then they can handle...Its early yet, so anything will happen.....
