The SF Unified School District has cancelled all non-essential events at all schools for two weeks:

Obviously, Lincoln-SF was supposed to host it's NorCal Final game against Brookside Christian on Tuesday. Obviously, the news has been focused on Riordan / DLS & Dublin / Sheldon.

I wonder if the Lincoln game gets moved to Brookside or hosted at a neutral site or even Kezar if SFUSD doesn't allow an exception. Its possible Lincoln is forced to forfeit like the Lowell girls soccer team (and Menlo girls basketball team).

Kezar is out as all City owned buildings are banned from hosting any events where 50 or more people gather until March 19 at the earliest and from what I hear Lincoln is in trouble for even hosting their game last night defying an executive order from the mayor banning any event with more than 50 people in Coty owned buildings. Now what will come of it, not sure, but if Lincoln wants to host they are going to have to find a site not owned by the City and County of SF.

The City does not control the schools. They have their own separate elected Board.

SFUSD may be separate however the buildings are owned and maintained by the City, therefore they are under the mayor's executive order.

If they were not, they would not be following the mayor's executive order. The announcement even cites the Mayor and Health Department order to cancel tge ccx event.

According to the CIFSF website, Lincoln has been forced to end their season due to the coronavirus.
