Maybe Cathedral’s coach didn’t prepare all that well…. He thinks they’re playing De La Sol, whomever that is :)

Beery takes handoff, gets about .

Long run gets called back for holding late in the play, still a first down on the 32.
 
Another flag down as Greer gets about 5… to no avail. Holding. 1st and 18, another run gets about 3.. 2nd and 15.

Pitch left to Beery,,, D climbs all over it for a loss. 3rd and about 18.

Incomplete pass, punt team….
 
Short punt downed on the Spartans 47.

False start offense, 1st and 15.

Run smothered by about 3 Spartans, 2nd and 17. Another run gets crushed, too. 3rd and… um.. 19-ish.

Cathedral tries another run, nowhere.

Nice punt, Spartans ball on their own 8.

With the terrible QB play for DLS this is shaping up to be a long year for Sparty……seems like DLS has a fumble or bad pitch on every drive, not the execution u expect from their QBs

QB fakes handoff, keeps it, waltzes into the end zone for a TD. PAT is good…. 14-0.

Sparty looks to be in big trouble here.

Greer cuts thru a BIG hole, dodges his way to the Cathedral 49!.

Greer gets a hole, gains a few… then pulls a few guys for more. 3rd and 2.

Greer again, big run down to the 28.

Runs it back to the Cathedral 13.

ist down run left for Greer…. gets around the corner and SCORES!!

PAT is good…. we have a tie ball game at 14!!

Streaming announcers say Ladaceur and Edison are on the sidelines with Eidson back to his signature pre retirement form yelling and gesturing along the sideline.

Flags fly, false start offense. 3rd and 12.

Incomplete pass, 4th down.

Actually, it’s 4th and 8.. announcers miscalled it.

Punt gets it to the 44 of Cathedral, Spartans ball.
 
We get the obligitary sideline-interference penalty, but the PAT is good. 21-14.

Kick from our own 25.

(I think this ref is getting paid by the word on the mic)

Retrun to the 31… BIG hit!

Run up the middle gets it into Sparty territory, first down on DLS 46.

Drops back to pass, nobody open… SACK! and near-fumble…. 3rd and 19.

Pass gets about 9, flag down. Inelible receiver. 3rd and 24.

Pass is…. PICKED OFF!!!

Sparty return to the Cathedral 37.

Greer bouces to the left…. and breaks free!!! races 37 yards to a score!

NFHS announcers and camera work a chitt load better than last week. But would appreciate a game clock on the screen

Another short run, looks like the clock will run out pretty quick here.

Bigger run gets a first down, 20 seconds… Time out DLS, officially 17 seconds left in the half, ball somewhere close to midfield.

Sutton with a HUGE run down to the DLS20…. 4 seconds left, time out Spartans.
 
Pass into end zone…. Batted down, and that’s the half… 28-14 Spartans.
