Shooting-wise, not a good game, but hard-fought and a tough way to lose for Sac, but congrats go Elk Grove for the first title.

Great win for Elk Grove. Was this won on a last-second shot?

No late free throw for EG at 0:38. EG missed front end of 1 and 1 with 10 seconds to go, Sac rebound and missed deep deflected 3 and putback attempt at buzzer. Sac played without top rebounder Sasha Brown and it showed.

A very good team? They went 19-10 & 7-7 in league last year. They were a "Decent" team last year. Larry Price is a hell of a coach. On paper, there is no way Sac loses to Elk Grove, but you have Massari coaching the Dragons and if her game plan isn't working, they're done. She doesn't know how to make adjustments during the game.

Elk Grove was an underdog to every team they played en route to state. Not bad,
Coach should get some credit.

Vincent let me educate you. Elk Grove at 19-10 was a very good team. They were in The Delta that was brutal last year with 27-4 Davis, 22-7 Pleasant Grove and 20-8 St Francis. All 3 of those teams ended up losing in playoffs to either State Champions St Marys or MCklatchy. Elk Grove won its first playoff game and lost in Round 2 57-53 to Antelope. So yes that team was very good.

Price did a great Job. He had two really good players and all the rest were role players. He did more with less and making it to state was phenomenal so HEAT go back to the boys SIDE and stop hating

Does it matter what a team did during the season or where then end up in March. Some teams peek to early and have nothing in the end. Elk Grove just peek at the right time took there lumps and now look where they are at. Yes Sac High was probably the better team but can't finish the games out. The way there coach was rotating players was tell me she had no control on the floor to a point just like the Antelope game up by 14 and loseven by 6 that a 20 point turnaround. If they listen to there coach they would have won both games even without Sasha Brown. If she plays totally different game because of she physical defense presence.

Good luck Elk Grove and great coaching Larry Prices make kids believe in your system.

AZana i just proposed a question to get people, like yourself, reaction. So now that you've bit why don't you tell the board who of the 3 headed monster as Coach Price calls them is the role player and who are the 2 really good players. I personally think all 3 are very good High School players and thats as far as i go because i don't talk about kids on this board. Also for the record why are you on this side.

Yes Larry Price,Which i Know, did a very good job with A very good team that returned EVERYONE.

HEAT, I had to step back from coaching the boys my daughter is playing at Antelope so I switched teams. I'm going to need someone to take care of me when I can't wipe my own behind anymore. As most parents know, girls are more dependable.

I am not putting down the role players it takes a team to win but Mira Shulman and Madison Wong, along with Larry's coaching is what put that team over the top.

Having get players don't make a team great unless the buy into the programs a coach is sale them. Larry Prices coach Florin the last couple of years so the section championship with less talent. Elk Grove had a good blessing they hired Larry Prices. Elk Grove will be years to come. And again Sac High has more talented but sometimes don't listen to theyour couch and think the can when it will never happen that way.
