San Jose Cagers 17u and 15u both undefeated champions in a massive field. Very impressive. Not rebuilding. Reloading.

Who cares how the teams did.......how about the kids on these teams that are there for the exposure, how did they do? Who showed well and who is going to get some added recruitment after the event? It was pool play with 5 guaranteed games. If the teams that went were there to win as a goal then they went for the wrong reasons.
Cal Stars is obviously trying to win because there are kids on that team that are barely playing and that is too bad. Cagers trying to prepare their HS team for competition and everyone is playing a lot. The advantage they have as a HS team who has been practicing together for a while now is a big reason for their success. Oregon and the EOT events are based on luck of the draw, you can be placed in a relatively weak pool or you can be put in a tough pool. The of every coach should be to let the players play and showcase the skills they have or don't have. No college coach cares about the score at the end of the game or if your team is 4-0 or 0-4.
