Oak Ridge senior forward Erica Ingram has committed to Hawaii Hilo

Hawaii-Hilo is attracting some California talent.

Looking at their roster this season, they have two players from McClatchy (Sacramento), one from Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove) and one from Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach).

Sara Shimizu (a junior at Hawaii-Hilo) played on McClatchy's winning CIF State Div. 1 team back in 2015 beating Serra. In 2017, as a senior she played on McClatchy's team that won the Div. 1 NorCal championship, but lost in the CIF State Div. 1 Final against Windward.

Jenna Waki played on last year's McClatchy team that lost to Bishop O'Dowd in the CIF Div. 1 NorCal final. She also played on McClatchy's winning 2017 CIF Div. 1 NorCal championship team.

Kim Schmelz played for Pleasant Grove that lost in the 2014 CIF State Div. 1 Final against Canyon Springs. But that same year won the CIF Div. 1 NorCal Championship over Berkeley.

Allie Navarette played on Mira Costa's team that made it to the 2nd round in the CIF State Div. 2 tourny, three consecutive years.
