Granada 65-63 on a put back by Harris at the buzzer.
That was a close call. One ref waived it off and the other 2 just kind of looked at each other until they huddled up and made the call that it counted. There was some kind of scuffle afterward near the Granada players but I couldn’t tell what happened. Good game that literally came down to the last second.

Granada at Dublin tomorrow night. Last time Dublin won by 6. Should be another good one!

SRV blew out Foothill 60-33, and plays at Cal tomorrow night, trying to avenge their defeat to the Grizz in the regular season.

There’s been a few shared titles during this period as there is no longer a post season tournament. Riordan holds the most WCAL basketball titles ( shared and outright ) at 15.

Las Lomas beat CVC 62-47 after being behind by double digits in the 2nd quarter...

How 'bout these Knights? They have avenged their three league losses, Campo, CVC, Acalanes, and in their last three games. And all three wins were of the double-digit variety.

They way they're playing right now, they'll be dangerous in NCS D2 if they can keep this up...

good deal. i am new to the wcal but i thought they were some dominate figure like modesto christian in boys basketball or de la salle in football regarding titles

From our seats I thought the tip in was clearly out of his hand before the scoreboard lit up BUT it was very close. Granada was up something like 7 with a couple minutes left before a couple LONG 3s got Monte Vista back in it. High intensity game.

We bailed when things were getting ugly at the end. I did see MV coach (not son or dad) jawing (or maybe more ) with some of the Granada players. Hopefully it cooled

i wonder what was said that made the 1 official change his mind on what he saw.
that is some real hypnosis stuff to be able to correct a man lying eyes....
granada kids gotta be better... bigger prize in line.

I saw the head ref signal good when the buzzer went off. Didn’t see the one who was near half court and the younger guy was heading to the locker room. Didn’t look like they discussed much before signaling the bucket and end of game.

Sounds like end of game dust up was quickly defused by MV head coach.

Las Lomas is a hot team. Knocking off Campo and CVC may hurt both for NCS open & automatic NorCal spot

By the time they signaled it was good, all the Granada players and entire 6th man had stormed the court and congratulated Harris. To call it no bucket at that point would have been ugly. Good game!
