To me the Norcal finals for D4 are Tuesday night with a very good Brookside Christian school from stockton coming to Santa Rosa to play Newman. Newman easily beats Scotts Valley in pre-season and Brookside has a comfortable win over Piedmont. (in other bracket). Winner of Newman vs Brookside should win Norcal and rep state.

Guru- What are your thoughts?

Brookside win over Piedmont was in the 3rd game of the season and before DENNIS (Piedmont) came back healthy.

CN win over Scotts valley was in the 2nd game of the season and Scotts Valley was missing a starter also..(her name escapes me right now sorry)....and it was a home game for CN.

By the way...both those games were in the same tourney... The Cardinal Newman classic!

SHC was also in that tourney.... so 5 teams out of 8 still playing.....final 4 in norcals.

DANG!! How good was that tourney?


anyways, back to the topic.....


I personally think it was way too long ago and way too much has changed since then to take anything out of those games.

Don't forget last year Piedmont beat Arcata by 40 in the Willits tourney at the beginning of the year.
And then lost to Arcata in the Nor Cals.

I think both D4 final 4 games will be battles!...both are too close to call.
