Floor care machine?

Anybody got a recommendation for the best machine for routine gym floor maintenance? Or maybe the second best machine if it doesn't cost a ridiculous amount of money. The surface is refinished every summer but it gets slippery as heck by basketball season due to PE students tracking dirt and crud inside.

You are probably sweeping the floor with a dry floor sweep. If you don't use a good floor oil/cleaner which lifts the dirt into the sweeper the dirt is getting ground into the finish, therefore your finish is not lasting. Or get a mini Zamboni, still need to sweep before using.
