Central is much improved from last season. They beat the dog piss out of Buchanan who hung with De La Salle. I look at all the other common opponents and they're right there with the Bulldogs. I think it will be closer than people think.
Folsom defense is much improved from last season ... especially against the run. Offense brought back all skill positions and offensive line is experienced (5 seniors). Looking at last years box score for game ... Central looks to have lost it's top 2 RBs and top WR from that game ... all three were seniors.
I looked at the common opponents from this year as well and see it quite differently ... comparing final scores are misleading. Folsom had both games in hand easily by halftime .... same can't be said for Central.
Central vs Grant ... 54-12 final .... 14-6 halftime
Folsom vs Grant ... 53 - 7 final .... 46-0 halftime
Central vs Whitney... 49-10 final .... 28-7 halftime
Folsom vs Whitney... 63 - 7 final .... 56-0 halftime

Not giving Central the win here but they're playing in the "NO" not Folsom this year. Kids from the Fresno area will fight to the death at home. I would be shocked if the boys from the "NO" will allow Folsom to come in their house and take their heart. That will not happen in Fresno nor did it happen in Folsom. I expect a competitive game for 4 quarters in this one. That's my 0.2 cents.
Complete domination. Don't try to play Folsom with a three man front unless you have some amazing outside linebackers. Folsom ran all over them. Passing game was so-so. Central QB is very good.
Central QB was the best QB Folsom has played - including practice. Kid is exciting to watch.
And he's home grown.
Switch coaching staffs and Central paste 100 on Folsom. So basically, that game came down to who had better coaching not players. Now it's time to root Folsom on against a SD power. The Central game is in the books.Similar threads
