I was happy for Azzi Fudd but I do feel like Sarah Strong was the difference maker. UConn was finally healthy and it made a difference.

This is why the entire narrative last year with Clark and all the Uconn ex players who came with the "If Clark doesn't win a championship u can't consider her in the GOAT conversation" was bullshit and just them being catty and hating on CC who was playing with a bunch of 2 and 3 stars and led Iowa to B2B finals as a 1 woman wrecking crew (similar to Bird and Indiana st back in the day). Meanwhile Paige had Fudd and Strong and a roster of 4 & 5 stars who helped her win even when she didn't play at her best in the final.
