Hmmm. Not a private/parochial outfit on the list. Goodness, how times have changed.
50 years ago today I was backsliding towards HS graduation and plotting with my cousin who was enlisting in the Navy to avoid the draft how we were going to buy a burner car to drive from Ohio cross country to see California which we believed to be +700 miles long and 5 miles wide of sandy beaches while memorizing the Beach Boys' odes to CA girls.
Definitely a different universe then !!
