I thought he worked for Fremont USD, not the same district as Logan. Can someone confirm?

Fremont district is correct. I think he has been a stalwart AAU coach for the lower levels for years. A lot of wins.

I’m a parent and my kid goes to one of the oppositing schools that plays Logan. Mel is a good dude but from the looks of it the Busch’s ran that ship. Maybe the reason why they aren’t there any more. I watched the Busch brothers in highschool when they went to San Leandro. Straight beast. They did a tremendous job and got the max out those kids that went to a state championship. Changed the whole culture around at Logan. Just go ask former players who was the “Head Coach” was

My kid just saw on social media one of the coaches mentioning it’s official the Busch’s are out. Stating that an Athletic Director, principal, or envious parents can never take away the history or bond that they’ve created.
