Tony Sanchez (Granada Alum, Cal High ex coach) leads UNLV home with the CANNON! His team is looking great. Michigan has allowed 200 total yards in their last two games, SancheZ's team far exceeded that against BLUE. Followed by and 80 point game and a huge in state win. Sanchez owns the state. His team is one win away from hitting the over in Vegas. This is all with none of his recruits (his assumed strength) Watch out MOUNTAIN WEST!

Busted me up how Reno head coach Brian Polian ignored him at mid field. Get used to losing to unlv Brian.

The guy in the middle with the rug is a bad do....his pick of -14 against the Rebels even worse!

Sanchez has the "it" factor. Enough football knowledge, surrounding himself with very good supporting coaches, and players and the school buying into his enthusiasm. It's the formula that brought Cal within a whisker of his neighborhood kids, twice, throttling that NorCal record of the "encourage you to attend here" school. That formula may go unduplicated in NCS for a long time to come.

Sanchez has already made a big difference with that program. Great to see a local boy make good.
