Via Twitter, Marc Spears is reporting that Mitchell is not dead. Allegedly, he is in jail. That has not been confirmed. Neither has his supposed death.

Mitchell is being held at Santa Rita Jail pending a 2/21 hearing. Charges are very serious. I found this information by entering his name on the inmate locator page for the Alameda County Sheriff webpage.
